The Ohrid Blue Economy Accelerator brings together technology and innovation to help develop the #blueeconomy businesses of the future. On Friday, the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of North Macedonia, David Geer, visited the Accelerator at the premises of the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid and met the relevant partners and stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities for sustainable economic development in the country and the region, with focus on youth involvement, green and circular economy, and innovation-driven solutions.

The accelerator is part of the activities of the project ‘EU for Economic Growth’ financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, implemented by GIZ and AREA Science Park.
